Word Practice

 

a) Elkonin boxes: Seperate each letter into its own box or Seperate each sound into its own box​: Sh-ee-p  OR S-h-e-e-p

 

b) Sentences: Chose 10-16 spelling words and write a sentence for each word 

 

c) Dictionary Dig: Look up the definitons of unknown words in the dictionary

 

d) Spelling Scrabble: Write out each spelling word and add up how many points each once is worth

 

f) Spelling Hangman: With a partner, test each other by playing hangman with the spelling words for the week
